|Näitä purkkeja saa yleensä edullisesti alelaareista - These cans can be found really cheap usually|
|Barcelonan tuliainen - A souvenir from Barcelona|

Ihanaa viikonloppua kaikille!
P.S. Kalkkimaalilla olen myös maalannut vanhat kehykset uuteen uskoon. Tästä pääset katsomaan projektia: Vanhojen kehysten maalaus
I bought chalk paint on our trip to Barcelona as a souvenir for me from myself. I don't know exactly why I chose to buy mint green because I have nothing mint green at home, but it happened. And I'm glad it happened. Yesterday I found use for it.
I cleaned up a small tin can before painting it. To avoid paint drops everywhere I covered the painting area with a little bit of paper. Painting this small can is not the messiest but covering is still always a good idea. I mixed the paint even (this is where the paint drops came!) and started to paint. Best thing about chalk paint is that it looks always good, with little or more paint and painted even or uneven.
The paint dried overnight and the next day it was all dry and I could start decorating. I found some ribbons and feathers from my "decorating treasure box" and they were a perfect match with the can so far. I glued the ribbons to the can and put the feathers hanging from a smaller silk ribbon. It was a finishing touch for the project.
I am not sure where the can will end up, but for now it has found its place on top of the piano. A good place to start moving around the house.
Have a nice weekend everyone!
Ps. I have also painted old frames with chalck paint as you can click and see HERE
